In this Internet age many online entrepreneurs are busy collecting email addresses to market their wares. And online piano teacher and composer Edward Weiss is part of this ‘list building’ movement.
Edward says…
“I started publishing a weekly newsletter about 5 years ago titled ‘Pianoscapes.’ It goes out on a weekly basis and helps me keep in touch with people interested in what I do - which is teach an improvisational approach to piano playing online. I’ve been using Yahoo Groups as my mailing list and it’s been working out great.”
Asked whether or not this list building has helped his business, Edward remarks…
“Absolutely! When I first got involved teaching piano online, I didn’t do this even though I was strongly advised to do so. Now, I can’t believe I waited. It’s been probably the best business decision I could have made.”
Edward is offering a free video piano lesson and a 342 page book titled ‘Free to be Creative at the Piano’ at Online Piano Lessons by Quiescence Music.
